I find myself sitting at work continually clicking through boards for hours on end. If someone had told me 2 years ago that I'd be this addicted to a web msg board I would have laughed. But boards isn't only very addictive it's extremly useful. Only over the last few weeks have I started using boards with anything close to their full potential. I've started selling and buying alot from other boards users and really utilising everything boards has to offer. Nowhere else can you put up a product for sale and have a buyer less than 10 minutes later.

Are boards the stickiest of all sticky sites? Some sort of super glue site akin to the first killer apps. A new breed of site attracting more and more eager keypadding whores ready to populate our cyber community with new and wonderful ways of thinking.

Ahhh... I often wonder what I'd do if boards didn't exist. If it never existed it wouldn't be any skin off my back but if it suddenly ceased to exist the fallout would be catastrophic... worlds torn apart... days spent working instead of boarding. A horrible thought indeed.

In other news there was an anthrax scare at work today and 2 ambulances three fire brigades and a poisonous subtsances unit were speeding about the place. It was great.

dont believe what he says ! boards is very addictive and i have known to slip out of normal space time only to find someone over my shoulder constantly shouting and clicking their fingers at me to wake me up from the addictive glaze.

on the other hand, where else can you have meaninful debate over which brand of coke is better whilst at the same time engage into deep conversations with people in ireland. good stuff. Boards not existing, yeah right, but it would not mean the end of the world but it would inflict severe mental damage to many members as they try and stop a person in the street in order to call that person a muppet or a troll. very spooky.

hehe, i hope you got the autographs from the band members if anthrax were really there.

I'm constantly looking over my shoulder in case someone sneaks up behind me. They must think i'd be looking at porn all the time.

I agree Logic...I'm finding them useful lately too...I had a PC problem a few weeks back and got it sorted thanks to a helpful boarder. And now it looks like im gonna be getting a sweet deal on a PC.

    Long live the boards!

    I couldn't do without the boards :)

I've bought and sold stuff on them, and there's always lots of useful info around - especially on the tech boards.

I thought IRC was addictive at first... it's nothing compared to the boards :)
