I got Lloris in the 82+ with the rest being 84s and under.

The 83+ x10 was a disaster though. Didn’t even get a walkout - Skriniar, two 84s and the rest 83s.

Jeez, only just realised all of the low rated TOTS cards have hit 40k+ or are extinct. Example, Mannus the keeper from shamrock rovers was 18k 2 days ago.. he’s now sitting at 42k. Mad.

Could be one to keep an eye on if they go down again as EA seem to like the TOTW/TOTS requirement in SBCs lately.

Yep, them and totw have all shot over the 27k mark on Xbox.
I’ve a mill lying around so as soon as they come down I’ll be nabbing them.
Want to get PIM Puskas before it’s over.

Looks like the picks are better.

Mine weren't THAT good, but the first was Muller/Suaraz and I had Muller, second it was really only Neuer but I have German players so took him.

Jesus they've really screwed rewards. The reds have been terrible for most and the elite packs are a waste of time.

Someone posted a screenshot of a guy they rage quit out of last week because he was doing skills, see he got 30-0 last weekend but got shafted in his rewards!

Such a pity there's no euro mode. Would have given the game new life for a week or so.

I can completly understand people rolling dice at this point. TBH, I usually find at this point in the game, lottery packs are basically people's best choices for big upgrades. I don't think that's anything new for a post-TOTS game. I've got 1.6m in coinage, and an absolute tonne of fodder; 91 rated players who won't get a sniff in. May as well throw them into lottery packs cause they've no real value otherwise.

As it stands, I'll probably be running this. I'd invest the 1.6m into a player if I thought it would massively boost me. I've also got Icon Swaps coming up too. Had been leaning towards doing the attacker pick but not so sure now, given who I'd be aiming to replace...

Lads, all “discard” totw players are insta selling at max price of 30k

Sell anything you have 81 rated or under.

If you need any yourself for an sbc the totw upgrade only costs 14k from scratch

Yes was just about to post this - just sold 4 81 TOTW for the 30k max including the 2 Hennessy’s I brought following a tip here a while ago but didn’t sell in the end - doubled my money on him

You can check them out for yourself as Columbia are playing Venezuela now on iPlayer - Sanchez is playing as well. They are in the same group as Brazil but have a win already so look on course for the QF as four of the 5 teams in the two groups qualify

Had actually completely forgotten that could come… would’ve held off on the FoF pack if I had remembered. His moments card from last year(?) was a mainstay in my team.

Mine had been good the last few weeks after the disaster that was fifa going onto gampepass but its even worse now

Played last night a fair bit, far from peak hours but no lag whatsoever this end, was smooth as silk.

Fair enough, was both players though, you can tell by the way the ball bounces 50 yards off anyone that makes a tackle.

Do people use wired controllers or wireless, I always use wireless but suppose wired would be more responsive maybe

Controllers connect through bluetooth not the wire anyway, so wouldn't make a difference.

In an interesting move, we’ll now be able to preview what’s in a pack before deciding whether to purchase it (with coins or points)

But there will be a timer, so if you don’t like the pack you’ll have to wait say 24 hours to preview another one

I just previewed all the promo packs and the results were not good - zero base walkouts and goes without saying no FoF cards.

The headline pulls were:

100k pack - 84 Oyarzabal
45k pack - 80 Nani
25k pack - 77 Luiz Felipe

Needless to say I won’t be buying any of these packs!

They have a CB Lucas Hernandez card in objectives but he plays as a left-back for France.

If he was LB he’d slot perfectly into my team but as it is he isn’t getting in ahead of FB Mbabu or TOTS Tapsoba.

Isn’t that Theo who plays LB.
He’d slot in nicely and I could drop Toty Van Dijk and Gomez. Be a shame to use Virgil for a sbc but my loyalty to him is costing me games.

They prob put in that preview thing so that the governments can get off their backs about the loot box addiction stuff.

Noticed Chilwell got a LB FOF card, exactly what I needed too for my squad. Slots straight in ahead of the regular gold Walker that I used for way too long.

That Josef Martinez card looks pretty good with a sniper, picked him up at 80k, if nothing else he’s the cheapest 94 rated card in the game.

Hopefully this is a permanent feature.

It benefits those of us who spend no money and levels the playing field to an extent, you'll only need a reserve to cover the packs to get guaranteed coin boosts when they are presented.

Suarez was the highest in mine so it's a skip but I see no disadvantage to anyone bar those who spend money.

I don’t really see that it’s a disadvantage to people who spend money. It doesn’t really change anything, except they get to see the pack a few seconds earlier.

It’s certainly a handier tool for those who don’t spend money, cause you can check the pack each day. If it’s bad, you just wait the 24 hours. And from EAs point, it means more engagement cause people will check in each day to check packs.

I’d imagine they’ll look to start using EA points to refresh quicker than 24 hours too. Could be how they get round loot crate legal issues. You’re not unaware of what’s in packs before you buy them, and you spend money on being able to open quicker.
