Dead Insects on Car Roof

    I really should have taken a photo of this but when I went out to my car i found dozens of dead small flying insects lying upside-down dead on the roof of my car.

    I think it may have been because of the heat?

    Does anyone have any ideas why this happened?

    I have them on my velux windows, outside, tonnes of them stuck to the windows, tiny, wings wide open. It happened on one of the hot days alright, don't know why.
