Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am planning to drive to the Netherlands. Start in Ireland through the uk and onto the netherlands. And the opposite way returning a few days later.
I am considering renting a van.

Will it be allowed for me to drive the van out of Ireland? Will insurance cover it?
    Has anyone done similar recently?

You simply need to ring a few places and ask.
I assume you want to go there to collect things and bring back here?

Had this discussion, either here or on Reddit recently. It might be easier to get a vehicle in the UK, drive it back and go from there.

I would have thought the toll gates alone would be a major pain in the arse being on the wrong side.

If you don't mind a 30 hour ferry crossing you could bypass the UK and go direct.

Might make insurance, tariffs and customs easier.
