Son starts up front . Llorente benched.

Spurs XI: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Lamela, Lucas, Son.

Newcastle XI: Dubravka; Yedlin, Schar, Lascelles, Lejeune, Ritchie; Perez, Longstaff, Hayden, Atsu; Rondon

I wonder why Rose isn't starting.

Im after making a late Boruc transfer from Speroni (for a hit) to bench boost Boruc/Doherty/Bednarek/Ings and beyond the feeling that this may have all been lunacy, I’m now also terrified that I didn’t press the save button on the bench boost.

    Fabianski

    Robertson, Doherty, AWB

    Salah, Richarlison, Pogba, Sterling (tc)

    Jimenez, Aubameyang, Rashford

    Button, TAA, Bennett, Puncheon

Just did Digne to Doherty this week

Resisted the huge temptation to do the Aubameyang and Aguero week swap so if Aubameyang can stay within 10-12 points of Aguero I’ll be very very happy.

I think Arsenal and Everton defensively are as poor as it gets, especially as they are teams that like to attack when level or if they go behind, so I don’t think I’ll get a better DGW for the TC chip.

    Let’s go Raheem !!!

I wonder why Rose isn't starting.

Looks like he prefers Llorente and Rose together.

Going with more dynamic players up front due to Newcastle playing 4 center halves across the back four.

Brought Llorente in with Aguero for hit so not happy with this

I have a feeling that Spurs will be quite toothless with Son playing up front against a well organised Newcastle defence. Son is best with a free role where he can drift into dangerous positions, now he will have to offer himself as an outlet earlier in the play and will be well watched at all times. At least I hope so.

I reckon it will be Son Lamela and Moura rotating around the front 3 positions rather than one of them as the lone striker.

Quite possibly. In any case, I'm just delighted that I resisted the temptation to bring in Llorante as I did consider it at one point yesterday.

Brought Llorante in 3 weeks ago and got some returns in last 2 weeks but disappointed he's dropped today. Poch just does not rate him at all.
Not a hope he gets another game unless there's another major injury crisis. Will have to sell asap.

Well I pressed save. Now we need to see if it’s lunacy.

Sane captainers everywhere in my mini leagues....I have him at least so not unduly worried tbh.

    Son is a massive differential...

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,655 ✭✭✭sheroman01

    Etheridge

    Robertson, Doherty, AWB

    Salah, Richarlison, Pogba, Sterling

    Jimenez, Aguero (c) , Rashford

Main leader has played free hit. Captained Aguero as well. His team looks decent, Son is there too. Worried to say the least. Sane NEEDS to keep quiet this DGW. Salah, Robertson and Jiminez are the trio who can save me.

    Lloris

    Tarkowski. AWB. Ecuele Manga.

    Salah. Sterling (TC). Pogba. Camarasa.

    Kun. Rash. Jiminez

For this week, reckon we will see about moving to him next week from Hazard\City

    That's my plan

One of my rivals captained Higuain. I don't know how to do the open-mouthed smiley on mobile.

It's colon "eek" colon. Without the inverted commas obviously.

    Boruc
    Kolasinac Doherty Bednarek
    Salah Hazard Sane Fraser
    Auba Rashford Llorente

    Fab TAA Westwood Digne

Llorente..... I'd actually rather Westwood gets to come on.

Used the FT on Digne to Lindelof and benched Wanb, feared another Alonso benching:
    Ederson
    Alonso Doherty Lindelof
    Salah Sterling(c) Pogba Richi
    Kun Ings Rashford

    Hamer McNeil Wanb Bednarek
