Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bottas simply does not want a win, gifted or not

  • Registered Users, Subscribers, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,589 ✭✭✭✭antodeco

If Bottas doesn't get a penalty it will prove the bias for Mercedes!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,990 ✭✭✭Cool_CM

Stroll is in the points at the moment

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭skipper_G

Bottas gained an advantage, Ocon got a penalty for exactly the same thing. Goddamn it to hell if they don't give Bottas a penalty as well

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,806 ✭✭✭CFlat

What a great move by MV.

Max is ridiculous. Ballsy overtake again

He looks out of his depth racing the guys at the front

Max will probably get an "under investigation"!

Bottas is pointless as a race driver

Has he pitted yet? He picked up 5 places on the opening lap, he seems to nail his starts consistently well

Rosberg must be watching that wondering how he managed to get a penalty for his move on Max back in 2016 :D

No investigation on Bottas. FIA are corrupt of the highest order.

I know it won't make any difference at this point, but the principle of bias is crazy

Ah my favourite thing about racing, how they have different rules for different teams and drivers. Case in point, no penalty for Bottas gaining an advantage. The fact he destroyed his tyres and dropped back anyway is irrelevant, at the time he gained an advantage. They should have penalised him as they penalised Ocon

Still though, in a better car he might do okay next season

Hope Danny Ric ignores any incoming team orders and gets that podium!

Ah bugger. Ocon's has lost power. He is now out.

That is ridiculous how Alonso got a time penalty and Bottas didn't! What's a joke!!!

FIA shown their hand 100% in this race! At least it is very very obvious!

I'm actually so annoyed at that!! Unfukcing believable!!

One gained an advantage (time wise) and the other did not.

Alonso cut the corner more that once on purpose

Of corse he was always going to get a penalty

Bottas would've lost the place otherwise! He gained an advantage by not allowing Max to catch up. His advantage was the other drivers time loss

Speechless at how blatant it is. If you drive for one of the big three you can do whatever you like but anyone else forget about it

Nah lads. It's brown envelopes everywhere.

The two incidents are completely different.

That was a pretty cool moment with Vettel and Hamilton either side of Alonso driving around and then the donuts!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,542 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

Hamilton & Vettel are both celebrating with doughnuts & Alonso in the middle.

That is great stuff from the 3 of them.
