Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I can see why people might be so reluctant to post in this forum.

Ah my post was just a reply in jest. Not my cup of tea, but at least my reply brings it back to the top of the list again!

    The lamp is grand.
    It's the shade that's rank.
And that's the easily replaceable piece, pick a funky enough shade up in TKMaxx for a tenner or so. Go to buy an actual plain floor lamp and you'll pay through the nose.

Haven't the good manners to keep their gob shut when someone makes the effort to share a bargain.

That's it. If you're not interested in the bargain, move on/ignore.

You'll usually find its the people that never post a bargain that are the most vocal in their put-downs.

Calm down lads, think everyone's realised they shouldn't mess on bargain alerts.

    Anybody buying the lamp?

There were a bunch of other floor lamps also at very good prices, and I have picked up one of them. Thanks to the OP. Need a good value smart plug now, preferably that I can buy with a One4all, but it seems like amazon is half of what brick and mortar is for them!

    Guys- behave!

Re: the argos floor lamp- I have a reservation for Liffey Valley- must be collected before COB on the 13-01-2018 (and it is instore ready for collection).

I changed my mind after I ordered it. If anyone wants the reservation- 1 for immediate collection from Liffey Valley- first taker gets it.

You can buy yourself an amazon gift card with one4all vouchers.

If it doesn't fit satisfactorily, ikea do these strap on things to get your bulb to the right size

Dealz still do traditional bayonet LEDs for 1.50 which are grand for little used rooms, I would prefer a better light for often used rooms.
