Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm in an apartment with very limited outside space, so yes, a few plants and herbs growing in pots, seemed to have amased a lot over the past couple of months.

    Guilty pleasure song/artist?

Not really. My local beach is accessed by undeveloped walkways. Plenty of surfers there but it wouldn’t be for swimming.

When your away from home what do you miss most?

Do you put on your right or left stocking first

Interesting question there. As I'm right handed I tend to hold the right footed sock first, with my left hand lending support to place the sock on my right foot first.

Favourite visual attribute in the opposite sex?

Never, no interest. Although thinking on it I was at a game one time in Thomond Park.... that'll tell you the level of interest I had that that just came back to me as I was typing this reply. The OH is a munster rugby fan so I was dragged along.

I've never bought one, the only one that I could call my own was a SEGA Master System, that was a few years back now.

I’ve driven on both the left and right.

Did you you ever use a left hand drive bike or motorbike ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

I have indeed driven left hand drive when I lived abroad. And still ride motorbikes. But have never ridden a bike with a suicide shift.

Would doing a parachute jump seem like a bit of craic or...like me...put the fear of bejaysus in you?

    No hasn’t increased for me.

Do you think it’s an emerging problem or at its peak?

Emerging problem, big time. I don't bet, never have, wouldn't know how to! But the proliferation of gambling advertisement lately is just insane. Even the sports broadcasts on rte are sponsored by betting companies now! Biggest issue is it's moving from the physical bookies to the digital realm where there is no luck or skill, just a well planned system to real you in, give a little, take a lot more and repeat.

Speaking of which, biggest sum of money you've ever won?

One of my yankee uncles is 95 and still working. My granda was the only one of his family to stay in Ireland. He died last year at 90 looking every bit of it. He had a hard auld life living on the border. But his three brothers all went to the US, they're all in their 90s and they all look like theyre in their 60s. Tedious fukkers though, granda was great craic.

If you could go back to one point in your life and tell yourself to do/not do something, basically change one thing, what would it be?

I’m not really sure I think I sleep on both sides of it but I start on the left because it’s closest to the door.
