Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

https://www.deporvillage.net/ have Garmin 530 unit only for €240, HRM bundle for €320 and MTB bundle for €320.
    A tenner postage

I bought stuff off them a couple of weeks ago and have no complaints. Orders should come from Spain.
Anyone in the market for a 2nd hand 810?

Another GPS unit and an alternate to Garmin. Amazon Germany have a good price on the Sigma Rox 12. See the link below and check out the used/other sellers. Amazon warehouse have the units for €207 plus delivery.
    https://www.amazon.de/-/en/SIGMA-SPORT-computer-navigation-display/dp/B07DKYCT4J/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=sigma%2Brox&qid=1617094185&sr=8-1&th=1&psc=1

I have been through Garmin, Wahoo and Karoo units. This unit and the Karoo are the best I have used. It should be noted though I really value the navigation element/route following and I am purely a club spin/leisure cyclist. This unit hands down beats any Garmin/Wahoo for navigation at a reasonable price.

It was a second hand one in “acceptable” condition when you click other sellers option

Select the unit and not the bundle and look at the used ones. What you get are the ones being sold by amazon warehouse. Everything I have bought from amazon warehouse has been either new or as new condition.

Only one size 42mm for 650b wheels but these are nice tyres. Very light and grippy. Almost justify buying a set of 650b wheels!

Thule ProRide 598 bike rack for €90 new on eBay from Germany (+€15 postage). Only quirk is it has Volvo branding.

They're €145 in Halfords, Chain Reaction Cycles etc.

    https://ebay.us/IIBp3s

I offered €80 each for two and seller counter offered €85. €15 postage covers both. So around €92 each delivered for two.

Seller has 100% positive with 1464 feedback reviews so appears very reliable.

Not sure about the tax situation but Cigala Retail seem to offer the same or better price wise for most of the PMs on offer, local company as well.

This might cost me dearly, I'm looking at the IDRO PRO 2 JACKET but I'm wondering will the arms be overly long in size XL. I'd be saving nearly €100.:)

Thats a shame. My Sworks shoes are starting to give up. These might have been worth a gamble otherwise.

But as you said the Uk VAT of 20% will be removed and An Post/courier will charge Irish VAT of 23% charged plus handling fee. An Posts is just a max of €10 but some of the couriers do charge more. Probably still worth it with the discounts on offer.

The Irish VAT is the customs charge. There can be Import Duty all right on products over €150 value where it get's complicated. Some things are exempt and depends on origin UK made products are exempt and rates vary a lot.

The shoes posted above should cost about €140 delivered by An Post.

Not sure if it's helpful but I'm an 11 in regular runners, 46 in these.
Pearl Izumi fixed their sizing a while back. I was a 47.
So they should be true to size

No other charges and the fit is spot on. They come with a few sets of instep wedges and a neat bag. The double boa makes it great to get a comfy fit and the colour on the bottom looks great. I went with the all black ones

had to spin up to decathlon earlier, managed to pick up a 105 chain for €22, albeit the last on on the shelf. they're still listed on the website though; that's a tenner cheaper than bike-discount.de, seems strangely low?

It doesn’t seem to be available. It keeps throwing me back to the search page, whereas other products take me to their own page.

    I'm an 8.5 but their sizing seems a bit quirky with 43 being an 8.3 and a 44 being a 9.

    I guess I should go for a 44?
