I applied for a job directly to a company a few weeks back through Indeed, there was no mention of salary in the job description at all and I assumed if I would be contacted by a recruitment agent or the likes if my CV was of interest to this company and I could find out more about salary/benefits/working hours, etc. Anyway, this week I received an email directly from HR of the company I applied to wanting to interview me at extremely short notice. I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle it may bring now as I have no idea what kind of salary they're offering and I can not find much info on this on Glassdoor etc. Is it appropriate to ask the HR rep who offered me the interview this question? If the salary is alot less than what I'm currently on then I'm not interested in moving. Ususally I would try and find out this info before it would ever get to this stage but I did not expect that I would be directly contacted by the company
