Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As above its my wife's birthday this week and we usually go out for dinner and get her a card etc.

Anyway with lockdown in place does anyone have any suggestions what gift I could order her from online instead.. she's in her 30s.

Perfume is the obvious one for now but anything else?

Also is there anywhere online that would post out helium balloons?

If you normally go out for dinner, get a nice tablecloth over your table, with some candles, nice wine, and order a takeaway - order from a takeaway you wouldn't normally choose to make it extra special.

As for a gift, perhaps a home made gift certificate made by you to be redeemed once life is back to normal, to bring her shopping, pampering, brunch, etc.?

Because of unusual circumstances that exist , you have the perfect excuse to do nothing and forget her birthday , present , card Etc . Believe me , this is a fantastic chance that should be taken advantage of because in future , when you do , genuinely forget this date ( and you will!!) , there will be hell to pay .

You can go with silver or gold jewellery options and no doubt a number of online stores are available for your assistance.
