Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bath v Leinster

  • VdF super sluggish looking

Surprised Sexton didn't take a drop there. It's that kind of game.

We need to get the finger out on the breakdown.

Good slugfest, Louw is a cut above the rest at the breakdown

Ref is being very, very generous.

Awful play from McGrath, he flogged the forwards way too much there, they were running the risk of the turnover a few times there.
None of the forwards really carried strongly, except for Leavy's initial mini break.

How many turnovers are we going to cough up on their 5m.

Leinster usually learn a lot quicker than this, need half time now - don't look like we cans core using route 1.

He looked off his feet there.

Bath player not holding his own weight on the last jackal of the half

Tough game. Bath putting in some serious tackles and turning us over at crucial times. Think they'll tire and we'll break loose but we're going to have to up our game

Refereeing at the breakdown is driving me mad. Guys not rolling away at all & then yes, Louw not supporting his body weight at all at the last breakdown

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Think we picked up a bit in the final 10 minutes, but still looking rather laboured. When we get faster ball we're finding gaps but the last phase is killing us. We've been rather poor really. None in the backrow look at the pace.

Ringrose should have passed that time he broke into their 22

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Sexton was in the refs ear when he was running off for HT. Really making the point that Bath were going off their feet constantly. Was pretty aggressive about making his point too.

I thought VdF has had his hands on the ball longer than Louw has for his turnovers.

Untidy first half, we'll need to tighten up.

Ringrose pick of our backs for me thus far

‪Craig Doyles poloneck must be exterminated!

It must be very frustrating, they've been taking players away from rucks too.

Exeter guy earlier was wearing one too, some ****er working as a buyer in menswear somewhere is attempting to have them make a come back.

Shut up BOD. If they're getting away with it so should we

Ruddock is having an awful game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 589 ✭✭✭baas baa

In fairness Louw got away with similar on Sexton under the nose of the ref in the first half.

It's working fine for me on Chromecast.

It's probably our worst display from our backrows this season and last.

2 super turnovers in 5 mins from Healy

McGrath has some tekkers in the tackle.

    Jesus.

Sexton is losing it with this ref, will have to be careful.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

At least we've copped on that the referee is letting the defending team get all over the ball regardless of their body position.

Cheers, must be a local issue so, it keeps stopping and disconnecting, normally is pretty solid.

Brilliant first phase set piece move.

    Can't disrespect Larmour like that.

    Solid try.

    Great take by Larmour.

Such a present. Didn’t get much of an advantage unlike first half when Lowe had kicked the ball away but then called it back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,998 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Ref calling advantage over was bizarre there

  • Bod talking ****e. Not saying anything about the same body positions of the Bath players

    Worst advantage ever

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Wilson at 10 is a 35 year old temporary signing out of retirement and he looks every bit of it. That intercepted pass was hopeless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

Cian Healy of all people complaining about the jackler not supporting his weight.

    Amazing.

It wasn't. They got clean turnover ball in open space with numbers outside and were moving it. That is on Wilson not the referee.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,229 ✭✭✭A-Train

Terrible restart again and they get a penalty straight away

  • Registered Users Posts: 204 ✭✭griffinlee

Jeez I know it's BT Sport, you think O'Driscoll was from Coventry or some place with his knit picking of Leinster

He wasn't though. He complained about being held by a player on the ground thereby preventing his clear out

Nah, think you're wrong there chief. Ball was intercepted around or behind where the lineout had even taken place.

    Contrast with Lowe's advantage
