Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    evening all,

quick question asking as I have a few quid to invest at the minute.

Is there a company I can go to and purchase their financial advice on whether a particular stock is worth investing in.

Its v easy see the fundamental analysis for any given stock, but regarding is it unique in the market etc, does it have an edge over its competitiors........ is there anyone is able to give a report on that type of stuff.

    thanks for reading.

That is called doing your own research or hiring someone by the hour to do it for you. If you are going to invest in individual stocks, then you need to be willing to put in the time, lots of time. Seriously successfully investing in individual stocks requires a lot of knowledge and time.

There are various investor newsletters you can sign up to which will give you additional information for couple hundred €/$, but remember those guys are there to sell newsletters, not to make you rich so you still need to put in the hours.

Also remember that asset allocation accounts for more of the portfolio return than stock picking: Determinants of Portfolio Performance

Are you asking for someone to look at a particular company that you want or just someone to give you advice in general?
