Hi folks. Bit of advice required, we removed a stove recently (with a back boiler) as we rearly used it. Plumber blanked off pipes in wall in living room, builder filled hole with blocks and plasterer replastered entire section of wall. We had the chimney removed from the roof and slated over. Builder mentioned that he fill flue with insulation in attic. Fast forward a week after plastering and the area where the stove was positioned in living room will not dry fully. Feels cold to touch compared to the rest of the wall. Finish on the wall in this area also appears different. Any ideas

the blocks etc will take much longer to dry, maybe a few months depending on how wet the work was and how much volume
