Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The company im working for is going to send some lads to get trained on drones to get progress photos and stuff of sites and the works and stuff.

They are going to be fully compliant with the regulations so the 2 day course, flight test and licence, etc, so we can fly in Dublin and apply to get drones up in the no fly zones (1 job we have is in a no fly zone).

Has anybody done the flight test & associated training? What does the test consist of? Would a few hours flying get you confident enough to pass it?

    Hi,

I passed the test before Christmas.

With the flying it's as much about the procedures and safety. Pilot and spotter working together.
Having take-off / flight / landing procedures off pat.

You would need a number of sessions working as a team to get this right and second nature for the test.

Let me know if you want more detail.

    MiCk B. :-)
