Busy Dublin location for photographing traffic?

This thread could go in a few places on Boards, I realize.

Don't think that Photography would be right for it though.

Anyway, I want to photograph traffic at a busy intersection.

I want traffic that is criss-crossing. i.e. Not simply two-way M50-type busy traffic.

I also want to shoot it from a high vantage point, that is freely accessible.

So, any suggestions for, say, a flyover looking down on a busy traffic junction?

You could try the pedestrian bridge at Dunnes Stores in Cornelscourt.

It overlooks a busy 4 way junction. Probably much busier during school times than summer though.

Possibly the junction on the canal at the Barge pub as well. You maybe able to see it from Luas bridge.

I think the vantage point might be too low.

Any of the elevated Luas stops, e.g. Charlemont or Ranelagh or Dundrum. Make sure to follow the rules.

Footbridge at Palmerstown overlooks the Lucan Road and Kennelsfort Road junction.

The pedestrian bridge over the N11 at Foxrock Church, it's very high above the road and reasonably close to the junction. It's not a crossroads, just a right turn for inbound traffic but there's a lot of traffic all day on the N11 plus plenty of traffic coming up Kill Lane from Deansgrange and Dun Laoghaire. It's very busy in the mornings and evenings. Plenty of buses pass that way - 145, 75, 46A, 84X and the Greystones Aircoach (702).

Oh, two footbridges over the Talalght Bypass, the eastern one is near a T-junction between two dual carriageways. Also two bridges over the Naas Road at Red Cow. The bridge at Newlands Cross likely unsafe for such an exercise.

Was gonna suggest that one at kill lane. With wide glass it'd be almost perfect(T vs crossroad).

Any bridge along the N11 would be good such as Cherrywood, UCD, Colaiste Eoin, Foxrock Church, RTE or Cabinteely.
