Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Back when the Nocturnal Forum beers were on the go (and forum beers in general) there was a lot more coupling.

    Been maybe 8 or 9 years since i hooked up with another boardsie, which makes sense given im not married to a non-boardsie 6+ years.

    I met my wife on boards. We got into a heated debate in a thread on the conspiracy theories forum, sparks flew and things went from there. Magic.

    I didn't even need to see her before I knew she was the one (although when she said she was "Russian & hot", I wasn't complaining pacman.gif).

    We even got married via Skype, although the WiFi was so weak in the place we had the ceremony that the video wouldn't work and her voice sounded all distorted.

    It was so funny, her vows consisted mostly of long rambling diatribes against the West. Still heard the "I do" though biggrin.png

    Turns out, she was actually a Russian bot. I must have misheard her. Boy was I red-faced.

    This is just a throwaway account so I don't mind saying:

    One abandoned night with a girl who was a complete Boardsie bike about 14 years ago. I wasn't feeling it at all so got the f*ck outta dodge.

    And one *much* better night with an nympho 18 year old Boardsie also around 2005. She had a pierced tongue and bum my mind still wanders back to sometimes. She'd looked for another meetup but I was still healing up from a relationship.

    I don't know how - with the likes of Tinder, POF, Bumble etc - getting the ride via Boards is still even a thing but more power to anyone, with that kinda competition, that pulls it off.

    I only ever hooked up with one person at a boards beer. It was an AH beer and she was a randomer who happened to be in the pub at the time. I brought her to a BGRH beer a week or two later. Shockingly it didn't last :pac:

    Two other boardsies hooked up at that beer and are married with kids now though.
