Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

TAXSAVER ISSUE

    Hi all,

I know this has been asked before on older threads but need clarification. Started a job recently and was asked to join Taxsaver commute scheme. They only offered annual tickets and told me that it is non-refundable, but now 2 months in I am looking to leave the company.

If I cancel my card can the company get a refund on the months remaining? Really can't afford to pay it upfront for a service I never used.

I expected to stay with the company longer, but it hasn’t worked out for a number of reasons. I was reading my contract when I found out that they offer employees to come on board after 6 months probation…I was asked on my first day!

    All help appreciated!

The scheme is usually on the basis that the employer buys the ticket upfrnt and you pay for it through a salary sacrifice

the company may be able to get a refund if they cancel it

OK, that's great. When I signed up they said if leave before its paid in full the balance is taken from the final payroll. Was like, EEK.

if you do have to pay in full, you still have the ticket for your own use for the rest of the year

if they take back the cost form you then you may be able to cancel it and get the refund yourself

Any refund of annual is done on the equivalent monthly cost which is 1/10th a month and zero for the last two. Just so you know what possible options there could be.
