Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kettle replacements

Like much Irish households kettles dont last a long time. So for a while now I just buy nice kettles for about the same price each time from amazon. The one thing I get is ones with a 2 year at least waranty. I dont pay for tge extra cover. This is important as sometimes it lasts more than a year. So now when your kettle…

Like much Irish households kettles dont last a long time. So for a while now I just buy nice kettles for about the same price each time from amazon. The one thing I get is ones with a 2 year at least waranty. I dont pay for tge extra cover. This is important as sometimes it lasts more than a year.

So now when your kettle dies call amazon and get a replacement or refund.

If refund then buy a new kettle from them. When it arives, put the old one in the box. Stick the an post return label on it and send it back to them. You have something like 30 days to return the broken one.

Now this holds true for most things with amazon that are prone to breaking but kettles in the one I use it most for.

12 years here in my gaff. On second kettle, first replaced for fashion reasons. What the hell do you do to your kettles that they only last 1-2 years?
