Checked the tickets, after collecting a few bob in work today - zip, nada nothing!

I even registered online and played - nope!

This is why I don't play the lotto!

Anyone win anything? Even a scratch card?

I recently came home from a night in the pub with a Superman comic in one pocket and a 330ml can of craft beer in the other. There'd been a raffle for which I hadn't bought any tickets. I don't know whether I stole the goods or had them secreted upon my person. So I 'won' despite not buying a ticket.

It wouldn't work with a lottery ticket though as you can steal as many as you like and even if you filled in the winning numbers they won't pay you.

I 'won' a raffle for flights once. The prize was for someone else and in return I got free beer and stoned out of my bin.

Apparently there are 2,760 or so people worth $10 million dollars or more in Ireland so there's probably about 2,500 people already worth as much as last nights lotto in this country. Sums of money like that aren't what they once were- sure pogba was sold to man Utd for like 100 million euro.. money has just become worth nothing compared to the chunky sense of monetary value of the 90s and before
