Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just spent way more time than was appropriate searching the main web site to try and find out what the fees and timescale are relating to lodging a Sterling cheque.

There appears to be nothing definitive about the charges for the service, or the timescale for clearing, so before we lodge it, (<£20,000), I decided to check here before presenting it, as there's some confusion about the costs and timescale, some the the comments here on this page are worrying, and that's being nice about it.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

    Hi There,

Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards. We are very sorry for the delay in responding to you. It appears that the original post was missed.

When a foreign exchange cheque is lodged to your account this can take anything between 4 to 6 weeks to clear on the account before the funds are made available to you.

All fees and charges will be provided to you by the branch when the cheque is brought into the branch. However for an idea of the exchange rate that may be applied please see here

We hope this helps and that you remain safe and well during this time.

    Thanks Jen
