Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ad/Bloatware appearing from time to time.

    As per the thread title, over the past week I've started to get intermittent ads appear on the phone (pocofone)

    They're not exactly pop-up ads, as in they don't pop-up mid browsing or app use, it's more like if I pick up the phone after a few hours of it being asleep, and there's a full page displaying an ad, which I've embedded in the thread.

    Tried the usual, malware bytes, air push detector, looked at my browser (Chrome) settings, but nothing stands out.

    Anyone any ideas?

    If not an xiaomi/MIUI ad causing this then try: -

    Could be built into the OS. I had a similar issue with an Elephone. Random ad popups. Even Redding the device to factoring settings made no change. Loaded a custom ROM (via XDA developers) and it disappeared

    Battery saver app or cleaner app. Those apps don't work and are just full of ads and crap.

    It hasn't happened in a while now so as I could try any of the solutions offered here, but I'll update when I do.
