Met Office - Weather

The cold weather persists this week with unusually frosty mornings on the way. It does warm up at the weekend but the higher temperatures come along with wet and windy conditions too and the jet stream plays an important part in how things develop, Alex Deakin explains.

Weekend weather – More showers ahead, any sign of warmth? 13/05/21

Met Office - Weather

The weather patterns show little sign of change for the weekend. A low pressure system will bring cloud and rain followed by heavy showers, especially in the south, on both days. The driest weather this weekend is set for Scotland, but even where we see some sunshine it won’t be warm. Alex Deakin has the details.

Anyone notice RTE Weather forecast after the 9 o'clock news tonight has red wind level speeds all over the place?

Someone must have been messing with the graphics!

The last one I seen had a wind speed of 144!
