Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, We have decided to buy a campervan and would be interested in any advice from experienced campervan owners. We would like to get a three berth/max 4 berth. are there any good dealerships and is there any savings to be made abroad. Woud be taking it to France/spain so left hand drive would suit but not essential.
Where is the best place to start looking? I see a few 90,92,94 on Donedeal not sure how long they would last -

    TIA

Check out Donaghey motorhomes Letterkenny Co Donegal https://donagheymotorhomes.ie/ or Anchorpoint motorhomes Birdhill Co Tipperary https://anchorpointmotorhomes.com/ They are the two biggest dealers in the country and very helpful and easy to deal with. By all means check out whats on Done Deal but buyer beware, not everyone is truthful and honest. Beware of scams offering good deals and delivery to your home, seems too good to be true.... it usually is. Enemy No1 is damp, check everywhere for signs and be prepared to walk away. If you buy abroad the customs in Rosslare will pick a magic figure out of the air and tell you that is the Irish value, it doesn't matter what you paid for it, and look for 13.5% of that value. Read up on the motorhome forums on Boards also on Motorhomecraic https://www.motorhomecraic.com/forum/ Good luck with your search.

Don't rely on DIY damp testing. It's worth it to pay a good knowladable professional to do it before parting with your hard earned.
A good friend of mine dodged the bullit recently when a professional found hidden damp damage, on a lovely looking motorhome which ticked all his boxes, and advised him to walk away. He was just about to part with €34k.,

It can be difficult to find someone who is good. If you were a member of one of the motorhome clubs you could look for recommendations from fellow club members.
motorhomecraic is a good source of reliable information, why not join that forum.
