Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So my gf works in an after school service in a primary school, considering there are talks as to reopening childcare settings to help healthcare staff out, is there a possibly she will be back working?
(Only reason we are asking is because she lives in student accommodation near the school, so she is just curious if she’ll have to look for accommodation)
    * its clear no one can give us an definite answer as of now but want to listen to people’s perspectives.
    Thanks 😊

Can’t see school or crèche buildings being used . As the care needed is usually shift work , more likely to be in-home?

Theres no talks about opening anywhere up yet. Its the nurses union mouthing off in the media again demanding. The DCYA are talking about a scheme for providers and staff to get paid something so that services can reopen with staff and places available for children whenever that will be. As of today there is nothing set or agreed to for the childcare sector
