Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Interesting to see ice cream / frozen yoghurt mixed with various sweets/chocolate/sauces, and waffles in cups, replace donuts as the choice of the sheeple. Where do we go from here?

    Never heard of it.
What is this futuristic ice-cream stuff?
    Can I eat it?

Ice cream has been around since forever..

And donuts have been around as long as I can remember..

People still eat both.. I know we do anyway..

What are you taking about ?

Those nuts are made out of dough, so they are doughnuts.

Ice cream fad? You mean normal behaviour every single summer since ice cream was invented?

In warm weather, creamed ice can help reduce your temperature to a more acceptable level.

First doughnuts and then ice cream. Before you know it we’ll be eating fish coated in batter with slivers of fried potatoes on the side. Or some kind of extract from the cocoa plant in “bar” form.

    Shudder

What the op means I think is the number of shops that specialise in donuts are now being replaced with fancy ice cream shops. Which I've noticed as well. In my small town we used to have 2 donut shops. Now we have 3 ice cream shops and no specialised donut shops.

Not complaining, I feckin love Ice cream.

And before the donut shops we had the cupcake shops. They really annoyed me.

Cupcakes, American crap, they are fairy cakes and should be fluffy and light not big balls of leathery stodgy with icing that would give you a toothache.

Love ice cream, my favorite was a golly bar, but no more

I don't understand this American shite of shops that specialise in one food. Donuts are nice and all but I'd rather have a normal bakery that sells a range of cakes. This fad doesn't seem to have caught on where I live anyway.

Come to think of it there was a frozen yoghurt shop here a couple of years ago. They only lasted a few months before they shut down.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,962 ✭✭✭r93kaey5p2izun

I thought this predated the doughnut thing. We were tripping over gelato places and "shake shacks" etc long before the doughnut places. If anything I think it has long been over as a trend, and just back to normal levels of summer icecream consumption.

    Two points.

    1) not everybody who likes what you dislike is a sheeple.
    2) we’ve been eating ice cream for generations. And adding stuff to it. That’s literally what a 99 is.

Otherwise great post! You are a great non sheeple intellectual!

If that’s what the op is on about, shops that over specialise in ice cream, then he might have had a point. But why are we compensating for his inability to explain his argument? Is writing coherently what sheeples do?

(All this thread has done has made me desire an ice cream. Off t’ shop soon enough.)

Ireland has the perfect climate to sink your savings into a business that sells products served at freezing point.

What I do is get some ice cream and a pack of oreos and blend them with my jaw, saves me 24.2% on average.

    If you say so.

Whatever it is you’re trying to say!

I prefer an Iceberger or a Vanilla wafer myself, but a 99 with a flake is a fine way to mix ice cream and chocolate.

Ice-cream is for social marxist leftist libtards who buy into climate change and the corporate communist globalist gay agenda. I bet they do what the lizard people tell them and vaccinate their kids and let them play out in the sun under a sky of chemtrails. Sheeple!
