    Lads,

All ready for Cheltenham, money packed and pounding the form like the leaving cert. We normally get club tickets and have great time for over last 15 odd years.

Anyway Dads birthday came up, hit the big 70... Thought we take him to Aintree... Has anyone got ideas on tickets that cost a bit more (much like the clubs we get in Cheltenham) that are best?

    Thanks to everyone in advance...

Need to get your finger out. Saturday is already sold out and most of the better tickets have gone for Friday as well.

Queen Mother Stand is the one I would recommend

Aintree Grand National Festival tickets on sale on Monday.

Has anyone any recommendations for the best stand?
Ideally a decent view of the course, maybe some cover if the weather is bad and also some bars and bookies close by.
Just from looking at the website West Tip seats might tick all those boxes?

West Tip seats are right at the far end well away from the paddock so a long walk if you want to see the horses before hand. Won't be so many bookies down that end either and don't think it's covered.

Queen Mother, Princess Royal & County are all similar. You want the roofs for the best view but there is no cover. Bookies all directly in front of these three stands.

Earl of Sefton offers cover but is on the bend after the line. Bit of a walk to the bookies as well.

Big screens everywhere, though, so easy to watch races and loads of bars so getting a drink isn't a problem even on National day. Though the bars in the stands themselves do get busy there are plenty outside.

Queen Mother Lower are probably the best. Close to everything, no stairs to climb like upper.

    Cheltenham is still better.
