Do we really have 5500 more taxis than licensed drivers? If so where are the parked, the cynical side to me suspects they aren't.

Make sure you check using the drivercheck app, it's not perfect but it's better than nothing

I've an uncle with 3 vehicles - an old Roller on limo, an S class he uses for radio runs for the Intercontinental etc and some Toyota that he uses for weekend after pub work. Neighbour has an old Roller on limo for debs work and his normal car. 5 SPSV, 2 licences.

Both basically keep the Roller as a classic project that makes a few quid towards its costs; not a commercial proposition

Not sure that could add up to 5k across the country though!
