Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ricky Gervais ;)

    - AllMusic critic Michael Sutton wrote that the track was "the theme song of angst-ridden New Wave youths in the Philippines".

Not so a music video but the whole concert is so theatrical.

    Immediately thought of this.

    Shakespeare's Sister - Stay

Her toothy grin in that reminded me of Annie Lennox - No More I Love You's

She's another one who has a fair few weird ones. I was really quite disappointed when I found out that this one is actually a cover of The Lover Speaks.

Not a fan of Korn at all, but out of curiosity I watched the video to the end, worth it.

Thought of loads more since, and whatever you’d say about Taylor Swift, she puts a lot of work into her videos :D

I remember seeing the video on MTV and being kinda mesmerised.

Helped me transition away from pop music :D

All these choices are only playing.

The most disturbing video I've seen is the uncut video for Happiness in Slavery by Nine Inch Nails.

I'm warning you in advance. Extremely NSFW.

Metallicas One, as mentioned above, but more so Marilyn Mansons The Beautiful People from Antichrist Superstar. That gave me nightmares, and still does a bit.

ETA: apologies, somehow I missed the part about the positive effect. :

One song that affects me in a sort of bittersweet way is Wicked Game by Chris Isaac. Anyone who's had a broken heart can feel it played out in that song.

One that always unnerved me as a kid was the one for the Professional Widow remix by Tori Amos.

There's nothing particulaly special about it, it's just a compilation of clips from her other music videos. The oddness of some of those video clips, them being out of sequence and the way the video fades out with a picture of her face (if I'm remembering correctly) left me uneasy and I was certain that she'd died and they'd just thrown a video together out of her previous stuff in some sort of half-arsed, rushed tribute.

    Return to Innocence by Enigma

    Also https://youtu.be/JhPPwLi4ZKU

    Hazard by Richard Marx

Really odd videos to my small self.

There was another song on the music jukebox channel in the 90s that had a kind of club rhythm. It had no lyrics but the video was fairly badly animated faceless cgi robots playing drums. Wish I could remember the tracks name!

Davis has had a tormented life and has been represented in alot of Korns videos. Fell back in love with Korn when then got out of their "dubstep" phase.

My brother showed me this video of a cover Rammstein did of stripped by Depeche mode. I was mesmerized by the video and the sound of the German accent singing in Engish tto. The video stuck with me.

The footage from the video was taken from the "Olympia - Festival of the Nations" film, shot during the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin by the controversial director Leni Riefenstahl. Taking into consideration that I was yound when I was shown it and coming to learn of the history surrounding the footage, the feeling, it still sticks with
