Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Probably the wrong place but just wondering can you withdraw 600 from an ATM, then on the same day withdraw more from within the bank or can you still use your card as normal after the 600 withdrawal?

https://www.moneyguideireland.com/debit-card-limits-on-spending-and-atm-withdrawals.html is a list of ATM limits for most banks.

I see no reason why you can't keep using your card or withdraw from a bank either.

Yeah it’s confusing I’m assuming the limit is just to the Atm though?

Whatever you've gone and done OP... you're going to need a lot more than 600 yoyos to flee the country.

Stay and face the music, is my advice. Nothing good will come from going on the run!

And remember, without a body there is no crime. Good luck! :)

When did Revolut introduce the 5000 spending limit?! There was no limit last time I asked them last December...

Probably need a rocket launcher to defeat the Gardai too.

ATM cards have a daily withdrawal limit, its the max you can withdraw in 24 hours. You can go into a bank and withdraw more over the counter. I think you have you let them know if its a large amount in advance. I think its anything over 10k.

E600 is daily limit with card at atm.
E1500 is daily limit with card in branch.

Any amount higher can be withdrawn in branch with ID, but you'd have to ring ahead to order it so they have it out of the safe.

Thought the thread was going to be about something waaaaaaay ruder.

Not really. You can decide what your daily card limit is. I set mine at 700, was 300 a few years back and I asked to increase it. There may be an upper limit as obviously they don’t want you to take 10k out of an ATM.

Used of a JCB is limited to nighttime hours as well you need a ''D'' licence in case you are stopped on the way by the Gardai. However you can use a Tractor to draw the low loader. There is also the need for a jeep and trailer to haul away the ATM as a truck or tractor is too visible and slow. Finally you need a quite place to remove the the excess over the six hundred euro that you require. Im

Don't know how accurate that list is of withdrawal amounts is, I took 1,000 from UB atm 2 days in a row last week. Now I know I can only do that from the atm in the wall of UB, not all the others would give me that much.

In branch is different, you can do way more.
