    Stumbled upon this show on TG4 there now , Hector the red haired Irish speaker from Meath doing a virtual show . Excellent array of characters from all over the country on the show singing , dancing , chatting etc . Great craic .

    He’d leave Ryan Tubrudy or Brendan O Connor standing .

    Just saw a bit of that myself. He’s a natural interviewer and you could tell his guests looked comfortable chatting to him.

    A friend sat beside him on a flight a few years ago, said once he realised he was having none of his whole act he calmed down and was actually fairly sound and normal.

    I never liked him on the radio, but his travel shows on TG4 are excellent.

    How long ago was that?! He was only just on the offensive all over the Far East you don’t like it; too bad it was good stuff. A formula that hasn’t lost its charm
