For some reason I could never take to this stuff, just seems to be bitter and not much else. And I know its supposed to be bitter, but I don't get the flavor off it.

Fullers London Porter on the other had is possibly the finest example of a porter I've ever tasted.

27 and have been drinking it since about 20ish. To be fair it is an acquired taste as the say.

Its not a great stout though. There are much better ones out there.

    What like Beamish or Murphys?

Can't beat a large bottle of guiness off the shelf. However a creamy pint will suffice when the bottles are unavailable (i.e most pubs in dublin)

Nothing like sitting by the fire with friends during winter with a pint of guiness and a glass of baileys.

Bottle of Lidl Whiskey does me grand, I fear if I taste something nice I can never go back to the cheap stuff. I wonder if Tesco Value whiskey exists.

Can't drink wine anymore, its like acid to me now.

    Anyone brew their own?

I've never had Murphy's and Beamish is usually sitting in the taps for ages, where I've had it anyway.

No, I'm talking about craft stouts.

I used to brew my own vino but it had a serious adverse affect on the missus..

At the moment I'm drinking a lot of schwarzbier, but will probably soon change over to doppelbock and eisbock for the winter months.

Favourite EVER would be malibu :D

My usual is Guinness, but when I'm feeling a bit flush I'd add a Black Bush. When in Europe I'd go for a local beer with absinthe on the side.

Wine or Captain Morgans with Club Orange.

I started on ale and stout but eventually moved to cider. I like the odd pint of lager but cider would be my fav.

Don't like drinking big volumes so the stronger the better and then off to bed early :o

I drink beer mostly, can't stand cider or stout and try to steer clear of spirits. Heineken and Corona are what I drink usually, I also love a drop of Red Stripe whenever I can get my hands on it. As for spirits, I don't mind rum and brandy too much, that said I wouldn't be going mad with them.

    Cocktails, cheap sparkling wine/champagne knock-offs.

Anything that gets you pissed quickly, basically.

    And Guinness.

I like vodka, but vodka doesn't like me.

    Gin and/or tonic

    An occasional cider.

    Sometimes vodka and coke.

    Sin é.

    Hogarden
    Sam Adams
    Heineken
    Bass
    G&T
Sagres & Super Boc (when in Portugal)

I've a penchant for a well made Mojito.

I'm also quite fond of Bundeberg rum mixed with a little vanilla coke and 7up. I call it a Rum 'n' Base(tm).

Southern Comfort is also high on the list but while I like it, it doesn't like me very much.

Beer wise, my first preferences are Coopers ale or Erdinger Kristal.

I'll sometimes drink Heineken if I'm stuck for choice in a little pub down the country or what have you.

This is going to be a messy Friday, I can smell it in the air...

Can't beat freshly made Mojitos or Margheritas. Hate any other types of cocktails.

Few Bottles of Corona with lime & then Captain Morgan & Coke with lime. I only got introduced to Captain Morgan a few months ago as well, where the hell was it hiding before this?! Gorgeous taste!

1 or 2 Bulmers on a hot day
Amarula (like Baileys but nicer) at Christmas
Any type of half decent wine with dinner

Used to drink vodka when I was younger & can't stomach it at all now, tastes like some sort of medicine or industrial cleaner.

Bicardi and fresh orange juice - anything else and after 3 drinks I'm asleep or extremely annoying(or both). I will on now and then have a couple of glasses of Pinot Grigot but only a couple(I'm a very cheap date I am:rolleyes:)
