Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tidy Towns.

    does anyone think that the 'Tidy Towns' committee's are doing away with jobs in the local area? Our local committee have just got 120,000 i presume form some government dept. When i was young the local council gave 20/30 people employment for the summer months now since the 'Tidy Towns' was set up no work whatsoever, what a pity the young people of the town are deprived of a summer job. :confused:

    A total falsehood, I worked on the tidy towns committee as a teenager for summer months and it wasn't detrimental to local employment.

    Its not doing away with any jobs. They dont just clean up places, they plant, paint, maintain, overhaul.

    If the Councils were asked to match that work, homes and businesses would be paying many times what they currently do in rates and property tax.
