Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ICU January Blitz - Sunday 20th

    The ICU January Blitz will run on Sunday 20th Jan in the Talbot Hotel Stillorgan. There will be a generous €500 prize fund. Details & online entry here:

    Entry fees: 15 euro waged, 10 euro unwaged. Time Control: 3 minutes + 2 second increment.

    Registration 5.30pm. Round 1: 6pm, finishing before 10pm. 11 round FIDE rated Blitz. Free parking in the hotel.

    This was fun. Around 30 people entered, the vast majority 1500-1850. Connor O'Donnell won with 9.5/11. Thanks to Ivan Baburin, Desmond Beatty and John McMorrow, and anyone else who was involved in running it.
