Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do they still talk about "spreading the satanic message" around the world? I remember reading that back then, I couldn't be doing with that sort of thing, it gives metal a bad name

sounds like you don't get metal son

Considering that's their whole image and schtick, yes.

I’d say 8-10k would be success?

Slayer did about 11k and it was close to sold out from the looks of it. Only 2 upper tier section closed off

I said to myself that after foo fighters no more gigs for a good while then rammstein and ghost come along. Ghost seemed like they got a really good response from playing Slane so I'd imagine the fan base is there for this to sell really well

Tobias Forge seems to fall in as a LaVeyan Satanist if anything. An image to espouse cultural adversity to theatrical effect. Usually fairly liberal, decent folk.

It's not a Watain gig for **** sake. Lighten up.

I'm struggling between seated or standing tickets. If I get seated tickets would I be allowed down to standing as well

    No

Is the atmosphere still as good upstairs usually I wonder? I'm always in the pit for gigs but recently I've thought I wouldn't mind sitting down 😔 never thought it would happen

Cracked and got two standing tickets, Tribulation supporting pushed me over the edge, I think it is my 8th time now seeing Ghost over the years.

Went with seating. I moshed in slane I'll mosh to ny on Sunday 🀔 I'll mosh to foo fighters then come November I'll sit back with a cup of tea for ghost 😣. Can't make head nor tail of row and seat numbers so don't know if I got good seats or not

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,687 ✭✭✭✭jack presley

There’s a seat layout on the order page.

I've just found a more detailed one and wish I'd held out a bit longer for better seats

Seated will be grand. They put on a great spectacle and it's not really a mosh kind of show.

Two standing tickets secured. Really enjoyed them at Slane so looking forward to the indoor live show that everyone was saying is so much better. Going to be quite the evening out if they play for the length of time mentioned above AND have two support bands.

    🤪

Standing ticket got. Really enjoyed them at Slane but I'm expecting even more form this.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Looks like it’s just the lower tier and standing open for This!
Should make for a nice compact atmosphere(to a point!)

  • Registered Users Posts: 116 ✭✭CapricornOne

They've sold out the standing allocation at Wembley already.

Not surprised. Big following in the UK. Will be interesting to see how 3Arena does re: ticket sales.

As far as line ups go ...this one is solid...

Bought tickets to see All them Witches.
One of my favourite bands at the moment. Their latest album is unreal. Shame their keyboardist left though!

Saw Ghost at Metallica, not really my thing but I'm sure they'll put on a good show.

Tribulation are well decent too, groovy old school death metal influenced Rock! (slightly blackened too)

Some new material from Ghost this month and it’s really good.

Worth listening because they’ll be doing a long set in Dublin.

    Kiss the Go-Goat
    Mary on a Cross

Two belters - Kiss the go-goat in particular

Would this type of gig have a pit type area that you need to get in early for?
Been years since I've been to a gig in the 3Arena!

Ghost are a bit on the light side for a moshpit, I reckon, but I've seen them in the 3 Arena for less. Might get some of it for Tribulation. Nothing will be sectioned off if that's what you mean. Just one general access standing area ;).

Never seen a pit for a Ghost gig so far and particularly no moshing either since the 2nd album.

Ghost starting at 9 would be ideal for travelling up. All these weekday gigs are a killer.
