Reading Weather Maps

    Hey, Im having trouble with a module analysing weather maps.... Was wondering if there was anyone on here that new a decent amount about it and could maybe give me a hand, or even perhaps link me to a decent site that could help...

    These are two examples of the types of maps i've been looking at.

    With questions such as..

    1. Describe the dominant pressure patterns affecting the south of Ireland
    2. Indicate which air masses are present and show them on a chart
    3. Indicate wind direction over Cork
    4. Discuss likely change in weather over the following 24 hours

    Any help would be much appreciated as looking at these maps is like looking at some cryptic code to me :o
