Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Definitely. Not enough resources for an ever expanding 7billion+ population.

No not one yet, I'm a cheater though, I tend to do gift vouchers for the kids and other relatives I give presents to, the only one that gets physical presents is the wife.

Do you get much time off at Xmas?

I have a month off this Christmas..

Would you go away for Christmas?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I'd go somewhere near the sea, maybe. Somewhere with plenty of unobstructed sky views.

Do you have a favourite place apart from home?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,315 ✭✭✭nthclare

There's a place in the commons in the Burren I like to drive up to now and again and just sit there and put the head back and absorb whatever is coming from the location.

I don't know if it's magnetic or charges something in my atoms or DNA, but whether you're sitting in a car up there or just standing it's an immense feeling.

I brought a few people up there and they couldn't described it either.

There's a few hidden away Dolmens up there too, so more than likely the old Celts and Druid's got something from it too.

    Dear God no!

If you're buying stuff from Black Friday sales, what's the one item you're gunning for for that big price reduction?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

I have little monsters on my socks.

And no black friday spending either. That sounds boring I know.

Do you value other people's opinions of you?

    No, here's why.

(The pastor entered his donkey in a race and it won.

The pastor was so pleased with the donkey

that he entered it in the Race

    again, and it won again.

    The local paper read:

    PASTOR'S ASS OUT FRONT.

The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered the pastor not to enter the donkey in another race.

The next day, the local paper headline read:

    BISHOP SCRATCHES PASTOR'S ASS.

This was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the pastor to get

    rid of the donkey.

The pastor decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent.

The local paper, hearing of the news, posted

the following headline the next day:

NUN HAS BEST ASS IN TOWN.

    The bishop fainted.

He informed the nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey, so she sold it to a farmer for $10.

The next day the paper read:

    NUN SELLS ASS FOR $10.

This was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the nun to buy back the donkey and lead it to the plains where it could run wild.

The next day the headlines read:

Nun Announces Her Ass Is Wild And Free

The bishop was buried the next day.

The moral of the story is: being concerned about public opinion can bring you much grief and misery. Even shorten your

    life.)

Do you have a hearing aid?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I do care what people think of me. Not too much, though.

    I don't have a hearing aid.

    Ever seen a poitou donkey?

Herself is away so I am a going to be completely bold and do all sorts. Like not wash the dishes after eating.

    When did you last swim?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I'm not minimalist which you need to be to be ultra tidy.
But I wouldn't for eg. put cigarette ash on the fire hearth or leave dishes unwashed which someone said is uptight as you can clean it all later.

    100 years ago I might've been a nurse, seamstress or a typist.

    Are redheads temperamental?

What do you have besides keys, on your keyring?

Red heads are OK in my book, my Mrs is a red head, no hair, just a red head, joking. She is OK.
Other key rings and a shopping trolley token thingy.

    Do you dye your hair?

An NA keyring is all..I had a couple of USB sticks, but I seem to have misplaced them..

    Do sleeping pills go off?
