Digging up and moving a JuneBerry /Amelanchier lamarckii

    Hi folks
    what your thoughts on this.
    We are, in the next couple of months having an extension built on the back of our house which will impact on some shrubs we have planted there.

    The only one I don't want to lose is my Juneberry which is about 5 years old,
    it's not massive but I'd really hate to just discard it.
    Can it be moved? and if so, should I do it now?
    any thoughts?

    This is a good time to move them. Just dig up as much root as you can. And replant somewhere else in the garden. Or put them in a big pot . Just about anything in the garden can be moved now.

    My amelanchier lamarkii is at the early stages of sprouting new leaves already so moving your Juneberry sooner rather than latter would be better in my opinion.
