Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi everyone. Would anyone know anywhere that can cut a granite worktop for a recessed hob? I've tried a couple of the top Google search results, but they either can't or won't take the job on.

    Thanks

Where are you based. Could be difficult since you're supplying the material and if they inadvertently damage it who supplies a replacement.

Here's a recommendation I made previously for Atelier Stone who would certainly be worth asking:

The price difference versus other suppliers was staggering for such a small quantity that I had to confirm his initial quote was correct. Great guy to deal with.

Thanks for that. The link seems to be dead, but I've emailed them to see if they can help. To be honest I'd compromise and get a normal cut out for on-top installation if it's too risky.

    OP, did you find someone?

I got a quartz worktop cutout extended for a larger hob and the guy did an excellent job. Cut everything in place and sealed all presses and the area around to minimise the dust from it.

If you're still looking for someone, drop me a pm and I'll send you the details.

    Thanks
