Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

any ideas on where to get a crystal pressed

have an inexpensive watch (worth probably 60 euro) but I like the look of it, the glass crystal on it was pretty crap as it broke with a light tap on a door handle.

I researched the crystal size and ordered a double-domed glass crystal that will fit.

looked into buying a crystal press but the cheap ones seem to be rubbish and a proper one is not worth the outlay (hundreds) for a one-off job.

any suggestions of somewhere in Dublin where I could get the crystal pressed in for a reasonable cost, especially given that I already have the replacement glass crystal.

I've had them done in Crystal Jewellers in Blanchardstown shopping centre.

    Usually about €40-60.

Cheers - still probably not worth it for the value of the watch especially since I have the watch crystal myself.

think that I'll go for a buying a press after all - this one seems decent enough to do the job for 20 euro (can wait from China)

I saw a guy on adverts selling a crystal press for about a tenner, if that helps!

the screw down ones are apparently better.
