Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone with a good knowledge of sport want to settle a pub debate

What active or even recently retired American sports star who doesn’t play ice hockey, baseball, basketball, American football, boxing or golf earn the most money?

Our guesses are Serena, some unidentifed nascar driver or possibly Michael Phelps although unlikely to be him.

I remember seeing some nascar driver earned over 20 million last year. So drivers are on a million a race

Awfully convoluted question for a pub quiz!

Would The Rock, Vince McMahon or the Winklevoss twins count?

    Otherwise it's Serena.

According to Forbes it's Serena Williams at No. 51

Forbes has Jimmy Johnson on $22 million for 2017:

Serena supposed to be on $27 million according to SI.

For NASCAR that would be half a million a race.

    Those articles are such ****.

Serena is the clear answer here anyway but those Forbes breakdowns are constantly wrong

And pub quizzes. Fûckers cheating on pub table quizzes should be named and shamed in the newspapers and ostracised from the community.

The old question always pops up.what does the tt stand for in Isle of Man tt.
It stands for tourist trophy but if you say time trial out loud and make it look like you just let slip the right answer half the tables will go with time trial and you can say hello to the prize money.

They are written for people who haven’t a clue about sports but are involved in the finance world.
