Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Couldn't care less.

I'm about the music, the experience etc when it comes to my favourite bands.

I've followed a band on a tour before that never changed their set. All gigs were amazing

Plus, there really isn't much else to do in Ireland, really.

Updates here re tickets are great. But you'd want to be on boards all day long to be ready to jump at an opportunity, which is just not realistic, so there is a huge element of luck involved.

I'm going to see them in Milan on Monday 15th, which will be my 9th time seeing them (3 x Dublin 05, Dublin 09, Auckland 10, 2 x Dublin 15, London 17).

Milan will be seating, which will be only the second gig where I will not be in the GA. However, with this being an arena gig I am thinking (hoping!!) that I will feel much closer to the gig than I did during the one time at Croke Park that I was up in the stands.

I'm staying away from setlists. I want it to be a surprise. I'm very oldskool like that.

I really hope I can nab a ticket for Dublin. I can't do the Saturday night, but all other 3 nights I can. Goes without saying, but if a ticket comes available from any of you, and you want to ensure it gets into the hands of a massive fan, just PM me. :)

(Will happily sit a quiz for the ticket :D)

Got 2 standing tickets for the Tuesday in Dublin about an hour ago. :)

Got 2 standing for Monday for a pal, but they're GA3 and mine are GA2
Are these going to be on either side of the stage? I can't remember from I&e

I'd imagine their priority now is selling the remainder Monday and Tuesday and release the Friday and Saturday next week

I wonder are all these tickets being released tickets that were held back for the VIP Party Package ?

Those standing tickets are 775 euro each ,they probably realise now that nobody is going to buy them so they are releasing them at the normal price.

Thanks again to people here! I got a Croke Park ticket in 2017 from info of re-release tickets and got 2 for Tuesday (GA standing), am also going to Belfast. Can't wait. Setlists are getting mixed around a bit too. Fantastic.

Looking at videos on Youtube ,the band seem to be enjoying themselves much more with the rejigged setlist.
The new setlist is much better than earlier in the tour.
Bono seems much more energised .

    My ticket arrived today

Atm listening to Without or without you but not having that in the set is annoying but I can't say I've heard it live before tbh

I was planning on catching them in London on the first night but it fell through. Ugh! If anyone needs a ticket drop me a pm. Face value of course!

The new additions to the setlist are very welcome! I'm glad they dropped that section as it was far too similar to 2015's I&e shows!

You'd wonder how many GA tickets were released on the general sale after the fan club and album purchase presales - it must have been very few..

Yeah the presales swallowed up alot of the tickets.
I'm wondering where the lower level seats like Blocks B-F went though as there were hardly any of them available in the presale or general sale .
Even the platinum seats are upper tier seats ,which is baffling .

I’d say an earlier poster is right and these tickets gone back too general sale are some of those expensive packages that haven’t been sold

Cant wait to hear this in Dublin ,gives me goosebumps.

Is Heuston Station a parking option travelling from Cork to gig? Does it open late?

Travelling alone to gig & want stress free travel & safe parking & easy access back to cork that night.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,039 ✭✭✭innuendo141

Jesus, Ticketmaster are worse than I thought. I'm trying to change my card details for Belfast because I lost my card. I was told I've to call.

I called 7 times yesterday, each time getting either an "off the hook tone" (after the minute long intro) or being told "Sorry all our agents are busy, try again later".

How the hell are you supposed to change your details then!? Mental service. I've opened a ticket but I guarantee I'll be told that I'll have to call one of the reps. Anyone had to do this before?

Do the Luas run from the venue until there's no queue, or do you need to be running out straight after the gig to catch the last one?
