Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rang Axa's office but they're closed til the morning..

Am curious as to whether my policy has "open drive" - as sharing the drive to Cork in the girlfriend's car - she is fully insured - as these statements seem to be contradicting.

    Under my insurance:

Section 1 - Loss and Damage to your Car
    * Loss or damage to a car you borrow from another person - Not Applicable

Section 5 - Liability to Others
    * Liability whilst driving vehicles not owned by the insured - Applies

I'm presuming the latter covers me.

I would read that as you have 3rd party but not comprehensive

So legal to drive but damage to gf car not covered

That's not open drive anyway. Open drive means anyone can drive your car under your insurance. You mean third party extension. And the terms make sense you only drive the other partys car third party. If it gets damaged, you is on the hook for it!

TPO on the GF's car, as said. I'm not sure if they still do it, but AXA gave me full-comp on other cars up to 2l after I'd been with them for three years.
