Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sky HD DRX595 receiver and wireless connector

I have two Sky boxes at home, one being a standard Sky+HD, the other being a SkyHD DRX595 box - the non-recording one. I also have an spare wireless connector. Is there any useful functionality on the non-recording box that can enabled by connecting it to the internet, other then another method to call-back to Sky? Thanks.

The Sky+HD box (I don't know about the other one but it is probably similar) will obey commands sent to it on the ethernet connection.

For instance I control a Sky+HD box from a PC and laptop using commands sent over the LAN.
I can change channels and do the usual things done with the remote control .... select favourites; go through all the options etc etc..

It would be interesting to know what other controls you might find.
