Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

These are Phil's contributions including a double post. (don't think there's a rule about no tasks so could this have been a task that the wolves picked up on?)

Not sure about the wording of the death notice. Does 'Eliminated' mean mod killed? Maybe not because he was actually posting unless something urgent came up and he couldn't continue?
So do we count this as the munch for today?

Giving the time of the post I reckon it is the munch post.

No autopriest in play so hopefully our priest survives long enough to be able to give us some info.

I mean if you want to get technical about it Emily 10.10 isn't munch time.

I too reckon it was a munch post. Would be quite a coincidence for them to modkill someone at munch time and not announce it.

Could Phil have been Luke? Its certainly what I thought when I read that post, obviously the wolves thought the same thing

You talking about the mod post? Would the use of the work eliminated be significant in respect of the theme?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,625 ✭✭✭Desmond WW

Hey mods, check out this wormhole we go down now discussing the word 'Eliminated'. You're welcome! :)

I do assume there's a time limit on Vadar/Leia finding Luke so it makes sense that he's telegraphing that he's Luke this early in the game. But if the wolves did have him pinned as Luke why would they kill him? Why wouldn't they just recruit him? Or do we think he has a choice about the light/dark side and they didn't want to take the chance he would pick the Vadar side?

So either no autopriest or some delayed announcement meaning there is some kind of resurrection role in play. Most likely no autopriest

Very slow start and Phil like everyone else posted feck all!

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,752 ✭✭✭Mary WW

    He's probably not Luke

    But hang on

Luke is currently unaligned so a potential extra wolf (Leia and Hans searching for him too)

So..... would wolves kill a potential convert if they spotted him?

I mean maybe but it's unlikely imo

I'd just consider it as the word for being munched in this game until further information comes to light.

That's what I think as well, they would at least attempt to convert him surely if they did peg him as Luke?

Seems like they just picked out a player who was trying to make sense of the OP tbh amidst the basic silence of the first two days.

Yeah I'm tending to agree with this. He was one of a very few posting yesterday. Wolves probably just took a shot in the dark rolehunting. Sorry Phil! I hope you weren't important!

We have no way yet of knowing if he was Luke. If he was - at least he cannot become a wolf now and increase their numbers.

This exactly. I agree with the above but find it unlikely he would be Luke tbh

Would the wolves kill like though. It sounds like they have a choice which side they’re on so munching them isn’t in the wolves interests

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,709 ✭✭✭Henry WW

Now can we all agree to lynch Mary for admitting to be a Trekkie in a Star Wars game

Its all guess work though, we have no idea if he was Luke and the wolves probably don't know his role either. I agree with Henry that he was probably targeted for trying to work things out.

If he was Luke and the wolves knew this and killed him its seems like a strange play unless there was more to Luke's choice than just picking a side.

There is hours until lynch, we see how the day pays out and if the mods have anything else lined up for us today and take it from there.

Star Wars virgin here. I come in peace.

Can someone explain to me if Darth Vader and Palpatine are actually good guys or are they good guys for the purpose of this game?

Interesting take Senan. Sorry doesn't necessarily mean that the person is responsible. Sorry for your loss is often said but doesn't mean the person saying sorry was the one responsible.

Never forgot, that is is never too late to say it

Well, Vader killed possibly billions when he destroyed Leias home planet. Palpatine heads a facist like organisation that rules the galaxy with an iron fist

    Sweeties really

I'm not defending Mary, but until you come up with better reasoning than lynch the trekies, my vote shall remain were it is. You may be surprised at just how many trekies there are in this game

Ah now, lynching one sets an example for everyone but two seems a bit excessive without an interrogation.

Then again, we are all helping to build a Death Star so who are we to talk about proportionate responses.

Have you never said that you were sorry someone had died? It's a turn of speech. You're talking like a scummy terrorist robot who doesn't understand human speech here Senan.
