Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there a minimum size of house you must have to meet building regs?

    Hi all, just wondering what the smallest house I can legally build in Ireland is? Or is there no set minimum as long as you meet all the building regulations?

    There is a minimum for good design practices that will have to be passed by the Planning Department before you even approach the Building Regulation requirements.

    Have a look at the Quality Housing for Sustainable Communities document by the Dept. of Environment, Heritage and Local Government.

    Yes, according to table 5.1 on Page 49.
    That design would obviously be site led, and it would have to fit in with its surroundings of course.
