Can I pay for two people with one leap card when using Dublin Bus?

I have a leap card, my boyfriend doesn't. I was wondering if you're allowed to have the bus driver charge it twice instead of my boyfriend having to make sure he has change on him?

Yes, goto the driver. When he charges you the second time the machine will print a ticket out.
