Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have googled the query and not much further on, so thought I'd ask here as per the title - is it possible to object to council or appeal to ABP to an application for an extension to the timescale for planning permission?

    No I don't think so.

No there isn't a way to object. The Council can refuse if there has been a major policy change, e.g. change in zoning, flood zone now identified.

No objection or appeal procedure for Extension of Duration applications

The expected extension application has been submitted and listed on the council website with a "Submissions By" date.

If I put in a submission will it just be ignored then?

The grounds of the submission would be that the original site notices were next to a private road rather than a public road, hence the original application should have been invalidated.

You are wasting your time. There is no provision to accept observations on extensions of duration so the planning counter cannot even process you observation.

You cannot object based on a site notice now that was deemed valid many years ago.

once the council accepted the application as being valid... then you are completely wasting your time.
