Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Out for a spin on the Vmax today, still going well for a 34 year old machine.

I think we passed each other yesterday somewhere between Lacken and Ballyknockan.

Not enough of these roads remain in Wicklow.

Out again today, down to Crosshaven, Kinsale, Garretstown and home. Short spin, but the roads were unbelievably busy today.

I was on the Dakar two pictures up. Although I definitely passed a monkey bike going in the opposite direction, I didn't get out until the afternoon.

Yeah it's a DCT model alright, I only have it a few months but its been trouble free. Honda are replacing the wheels due to corrosion on the spokes and will be replaced under warranty. The DCT is great especially in traffic but takes a bit of getting used to.

Ya I'm a fan of the DCT myself after getting a few test rides. One on the AT and one a crosstourer, both super bikes.

I like the 1200 crosstourer too, the V4 would be very smooth but probably a juice guzzler.

I'm sure some wont care for the retro style but plenty of poke for me!

Nearly bought one instead of the GSX. Whats it like?

I love it, its a big change from the 900 I had before but its ideal for commuting.

Im 6 foot 4 so I needed a tall bike and this fit great, I hadn't considered a 125 at all until I saw this in bikeworld

Its great fun! The Maxxis 6024 are very grippy no issues but they do whine a bit at speed.
When I bought it the forks were way too soft, stock springs are 0.4kg/mm, I replaced them with Racetech springs 0.75kg/mm and used 7.5wt fork oil.
They are a lot better now, the bike is much more balanced through corners and doesn't dive as much under braking.
They really are a lot of fun.

    Sweet.
The gpz's are finally creeping up a bit in value.
You're normally looking at at least 3000 now for a half decent one.
    Your's looks like a minter!

Lee have a 1986 GSX 400 for €1490, been there a while now. They had a GPZ 550 until recently as well.

Posted my bike before, but just got a new lid to match & had to post it cos I’m so delighted with it :)

Filip at mad clown design painted it for me.
Considering he didn’t have the bike in his possession it’s spot on!

    Really happy with it

    Sure
    It’s a Thruxton R1200
Was painted in the UK & used as a demo bike by triumph. I bought it from a dealer in Huddersfield about two year ago.
