Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Venues around Dublin that require powerful amps

I've been gigging for quite a few years, mostly around Dublin, and smaller venues (50-100 people).
I have so far gotten away with a relatively "weak" bass amp (250w). This has been adequate for small pubs, and any larger venues I've played I've always gone through their PA (XLR out of amp).

I'm changing my amp soon and wondering how much power I would realistically need in the area I'm playing in? Are there many places around Dublin where I would need a 500w amp?

I I can get away with something smaller, and more importantly lighter, I would be happy, but don't want to exclude any potential venues because of this.
